SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship award, applicants must be:
* Currently attending a Jefferson County, Birmingham, or Bessemer City High School
* Planning to enroll in a college or university by the Fall of 2023
* Planning to pursue a Bachelor’s degree
*  Email the following within five business days of application submission:
Transcript
School ID
Acceptance Letter or Proof of application submission to an institution

 

Criteria

* Must have maintained at least a 2.5 GPA  throughout high school.
* A typed essay with 300-500 words, explaining who you are and what you hope to pursue through your college education and beyond.
* Provide additional information, such as community, church, athletic, and school involvement or achievements, plus anything else you would like to have considered.
